Does anyone know of a fix or workaround for this?Īfter doing some searching, it appears it really doesn't matter as far as game progression goes (as all that really matters is influence), but it would be nice if there were a way to fix this, as one of the things that always disappointed me about KoTOR1 was how despite what I did, nobody's alignment changed even slightly throughout the entire game and one of the cool things about 2 was that my actions had a direct impact on my companions' alignment. It seems that every time I gain any light/dark points, my companions (except Kreia who I believe is coded to remain neutral) all either revert back to their initial alignment when they joined me, or go bonkers in the other direction of alignment shift. Unlike the first game, I've only played KoTOR2 twice (once light side, once dark side), and even once was disappointing enough that I never had the urge to play it again (mostly out of nerd rage spite at the endings), so when I fired it up again, I've come across an oddity that I honestly can't remember if I ran into 4 years ago when it first came out (was it 4 years ago?). So having had the urge to play KoTOR 1 again recently for like the 12th time, I got the silly idea to fire up KoTOR2 for a replay.
